Welcome! To TKO Ranch
We greatly appreciate the individual that shows the desire to learn about horses in today’s society. It’s not easy to pull ourselves away from our computers, or the news of the world, or the constant noise and flashes of video games. But, imagine an hour a week sitting atop a beautiful horse. Sitting confidently in the saddle while strolling across an open field in all of Mother Nature’s splendor. The natural sights and sounds of the great outdoors are your own personal video. Or maybe learning to accomplish a flying lead change in a controlled and supervised riding arena. It’s something we in the horse world call “Self Therapy”. That’s right, there’s nothin’ better! It’s important that we teach our young people how to accomplish this wonderful trait, also!

About our After School Program…
Our program will is offered in two sessions, Fall (Sept. thru Thanksgiving) and Spring (March thru the end of school). Participants choose their preferred after school timeslot with availability Monday thru Thursday. Each lesson runs from approximately 3:45 pm until 5:15 pm and all riding is performed in our 80’ x 100’ indoor riding facility, unless otherwise noted in the curriculum.
About our facility…
The primary location for our after school program is our indoor riding arena, one of the safest settings that all riders can appreciate. We feature a low dust secure footing, smooth wall surfaces, excellent lighting, and rounded edges throughout. The safety of our participants is a top priority.
An Alternate Approach...
Our instructional methods are based on proven techniques that encourage the participant to learn the content we provide but also display a level of proficiency in the skills being presented to them. We have over 10 years in training/instructional background. We are proud to use a curriculum recommended and endorsed by the NARRT, National Association of Recreational Rider Training.
Disclaimer…
