Trixie

Trixie (aka DODGERS MS ROSEY) is a APHA (American Paint Horse Association) registered 1997 tobiano mare.  She is tri-colored (bay/white/black) and stands 15.2 hands high.  She is sleek and sassy, but, extremely gentle.  She enjoys grooming and loves the personal attention she gets when her mane and tail are getting brushed.  Trixie is gorgeous at all three gates and knows her ground work.  Even a rookie could longe this talented mare.

Cruiser

Cruiser (aka STREET CRUISER) is a APHA (American Paint Horse Association) registered 2000 overo gelding.  He is sorrel andwhite standing 16.3 hands high.  Cruiser has two blue eyes and a bald white face.  His sire, Street Legal (out of Sir Norfleet), has produced many show ribbon winners, including his half brother Legal Edition.  Cruiser, however, just likes to hang around the ranch and EAT.  He’s really good at eating.  Oh, did we mention he’s big?  Really BIG?

Eddie

Eddie (aka LEGAL EDITION) is a APHA (American Paint Horse Association) registered 1994 gelding.  He is a solid bred sorrel standing 16.1 hands with white socks, a white bald face and one of his eyes is blue.  Eddie is also a half brother to Cruiser.  They had different dams, but both were sired by Street Legal.  Eddie is wonderful with all levels of riders.  He likes to be ridden with an English saddle.  Eddie has accumulated many ribbons and APHA points for numerous riders over the years.

Keiko

Keiko (aka PRETTY IN JEANS) is a APHA (American Paint Horse Association) registered2003 mare.  She is a black tobiano standing 16.2 hands high with four white socks.  We bought Keiko as a yearling and have raised, broke, and trained her.  Her sire was a APHA registered stallion while her dam was a registered Thoroughbred.  Did I mention she is fast?  Lightning fast! Keiko loves apples and long walks on the beach.

Joezzi

Joezzi is a non-registered sorrel mare standing at 15 hands high.  Her dam was a registered quarter horse and her sire was a registered paint horse.  Joezzi has royalty in her family.  Her great grandfather, Far Ute Roulette, was a 1981 National Champion with over 135 points combined in halter, trail horse, western pleasure, and western riding competitions.  We bought Joezzi as a yearling and raised and trained her.  She was our first horse and the reason we bought another horse.  And another.  And another…  There are horses that cost a million bucks, but, only a few are worth a million.  Joezzi is definitely worth a million bucks.

Rocky

Rocky is a non-registered sorrel and white gelding standing at 14.1 hands high.  Some would say he’s a pony, but, if he hears you call him a pony it might hurt his feelings.  Why?  Because this little guy is all horse.  Just like the Rocky (Balboa) of the movies, he stands his ground with all the bigger horses.  But, Rocky really earns his pay with the smallest and youngest riders.  Rocky is our safety mount.  If you’ve never been on a horse, he is the best first ride you could wish for.  We have had children as young as three years old on him and he wouldn’t even consider breaking stride.

Zephyr

Zephyr is a half Arabian/half Thoroughbred gelding.  He has been boarding with us for over 2 years now.  He roams, eats and plays all day with the other horses listed above, so we really consider him more a part of the family than a horse dude just renting till he finds a better pad.  Zephyr’s best friend is Rocky.  They like to play and nip at each other.  Zephyr’s owner takes him on trail rides on a regular basis and he loves his carrots.
